McFun for Buffalo Grove High School McTeacher's

On Friday, September 26th, Buffalo Grove High School held a McTeacher's Night at the new McDonald's on 15 E. Dundee Rd. in Arlington Heights to support The Student Government Group. Teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money for the Student Government Group. Many teachers worked very hard including McPrincipal Wardle. The McTeacher jobs included; drive-thru teachers, greeters, teachers cleaning the lobby, front counter teachers, drink teachers, teachers clearing tables, and teachers serving ice cream. Teachers working included: McPrincipal Wardle, Assistant Principal, Mark Schaeztlein, Jeff Bott, Rob Lindgren, April Wegrzyn, Rich Schram, Laura Heissel, Barbara Meyer, Lily Justiniano, Jarred Maddox, Francesca Pecoraro and Gina Douvris. There were even teachers singing for tips. BGHS McTeachers had it all covered, and the families all had a great time. All the kids came to see their teachers work at the new Arlington Heights McDonald's. A special appearance by The Chicago Bears Drum Line helped make this fundraiser a memorable evening. Special thank you goes to Barbara Meyers, Teacher and Coordinator of Clubs and Activities and Co-Fine Arts Coordinator, who organized the entire event. It was a great night! The Chicago Drum Line appearance was courtesy of the Arlington Heights McDonald's owner/operator, Sue Conley.
