Woodfield Mall to Host Seasonal Job Fair in Preparation for Busy Holiday Season Oct. 11

According to the National Retail Federation, the retail industry added more than 66,000 jobs during fall of 2013. Gearing up for the upcoming holiday season, Woodfield Mall, one of the largest shopping destinations in the United States with nearly 300 retail stores, will host a Holiday Job Fair, matching job seekers with more than 40 top retailers and eateries on Saturday, October 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Grand Court.

"We are thrilled to help our retailers enhance their sales forces in preparation for the demands of the busy holiday season," said David Gott, general manager at Woodfield Mall. "As an economic catalyst with thousands of local employment opportunities, we are pleased to be able to match those in need of work with new full and part-time positions."

Available retail and restaurant positions include full and part-time sales, servers, cashiers, management and key-holder opportunities at American Eagle Outfitters, Aveda, bebe, Brookstone, JOCKEY Bra, LUSH, Sunglass Hut, Rainforest Café, Red Robin, Woodfield Mall Simon Guest Services and more.

Retailers will be prepared to review resumes, provide applications and conduct on-the-spot interviews. Woodfield Mall recommends that applicants arrive early to secure the best positions, bring identification and dress to impress.
