Hoffman Estates Hispanic Fiesta Oct. 11
The village of Hoffman Estates Cultural Awareness Commission will celebrate the community's diverse culture by sponsoring a Hispanic Heritage Fiesta from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at village hall, 1900 Hassell Road.
Enjoy an afternoon of the sights, sounds and tastes of Hispanic culture.
Activities include Latin dance representing Bolivia, Ecuador, Argentina and Mexico; food; arts and crafts; and of course the popular piñata.
Featured speaker Jacqueline Camacho-Ruiz is a successful entrepreneur, award-winning author and two-time cancer survivor. She will talk about "Making a Difference Through Servant Leadership."
