Bears Bites: Not many reasons to smile

Don't know about you, but ...:

If I saw one more shot of Aaron Rodgers smiling I was gonna lose it.

But to be fair:

The guy is awesome.

You got that right:

"If you give Rodgers more than three seconds, you're going to die by the pass."

- Bears radio analyst Tom Thayer

Sending a message:

After starting out the season 1-2, Rodgers told freaked-out Packers fans to chillax.

If Jay Cutler tried to do the same thing this week after a 2-2 start, how do you think Bears Nation would respond?

Think we all know the answer.

Really?

Does the Bears D miss Jared Allen that much?

Random thought:

If ABC's David Muir called NFL games he would be Fox's Kevin Burkhardt.

You know it's coming:

"Yeah, I think the Bears start this Clausen kid against Carolina. I'll hang up and listen for my answer."

Possible sour grapes:

If this were a national broadcast, would there be a better view of that Martellus Bennett near-touchdown just before halftime?

And if the answer is yes, a quick follow-up question: How is that fair?

Silver lining(s):

There weren't many, but we'll go with the play of Bennett and Matt Forte, the fact that there were zero punts, those Rob Lowe commercials, and, most important: The Bears and Packers have the exact same record.
