Camarena's hat trick leads Streamwood

After being double and triple-teamed Tuesday night against Larkin, Alan Camarena served up a triple of his own - a hat trick in Streamwood's 3-0 Upstate Eight crossover win over South Elgin Wednesday.

Camarena's first goal for Streamwood (8-3-2) came off a header from Jair Zuniga while Christian Balbino accounted for the other assists. Keeper Sergio Blanco turned away 4 South Elgin (3-4-2) shots while Colton Wenig stopped 4 as well in goal for the Storm (3-4-2).

Larkin 5, Belvidere North 2: Larkin (3-7-3) finally received the offensive explosion its been looking for all season as Hector Mendoza led the way with 1 goal and 2 assists while four other Royals scored in nonconference action. Also scoring were Ricardo Nava, Bryan Dominguez, Diego Ramirez and Alex Cruz. Both Sammy and Randy Rodriguez added assists as did Erick Paniagua. Leo Perez stopped 4 shots in goal.
