Lake County offers flu shots:

The Lake County Health Department/Community Health Center is offering flu and pneumonia vaccinations by appointment only at the Immunizations Annex at 2303 Dodge Ave., Waukegan. Call (847) 377-8470 to make an appointment or for information. Officials say everyone six months of age or older should get a flu shot, especially children younger than 5, adults age 65 and older, and individuals with underlying conditions such as asthma or diabetes. The flu vaccine is offered through a needle or a nasal spray. The cost for people 18 years of age and younger is covered by All Kids and Medicaid. Medicaid covers the cost for some adults and Medicare part B covers the cost of the flu and pneumonia vaccines for all card holders. The clinic accepts some forms of private insurance. For those not covered by insurance, the flu vaccination fee will vary based on the vaccine. For information visit: http://health.lakecountyil.gov/Population/Pages/Influenza.aspx.
