The two-time Frontier League champions Schaumburg Boomers

They did it again. In capturing back-to-back Frontier League Championship titles in 2013 and 2014, the Schaumburg Boomers put together some impressive numbers to go with their growing trophy collection.

Here's a by the numbers look at their 2014 season and some of their most significant accomplishments:

Regular-season record: 61-35, tied for league best

Home record at Boomers Stadium: 40-11, .784 winning percentage (including 3-1 in playoffs)

Frontier League playoffs record: 6-2

All-Time Record: 174-114 (.604) 12-2 all-time in playoffs

Regular season run differential: +131 (562 runs scored vs. 431 runs allowed); +17 in the playoffs.

Championship scoring differential in championship series: 24-11

Season attendance: 157,393, first in Frontier League.

Average attendance: 3,212, first in Frontier League, up 6.9 percent from 2013 and up 27 percent over 2012.

Highest single-game attendance: 7,614 on June 18, 2014, a franchise record.

Longest win streak of the season: 10, Aug. 20-30.

Finishing strong: The Boomers went 36-11 from July 24 to the last game of the championship series.

Longest losing streak of the season: 5, June 24-28.

Most runs scored in a game: 18, four times.

Most runs given up in a game: 14, twice.

Most hits in a game: 25, a franchise record, on Aug. 30 at Windy City.

Fewest hits by an opponent in a game: 4, three times

Highest batting average: .356 by Tony Delmonico (over 40 games); .337 by Tyler Sciacca (54 games); .323 by Mark Nelson (90 games).

Most hits this season: 106 by Justin Vasquez; 100 by Mark Nelson.

Home run leader: 12 by Tony Delmonico (40 games) plus 3 more in playoffs.

Most runs scored: Tied with 62 by Justin Vasquez and Alexi Colon.

Most RBI: 55 by Mark Nelson; Justin Vasquez and Michael Valadez had 49 each.

Winningest pitcher: Eddie Cody (8-1, 2.86 ERA).

Lowest ERA: Clark Labitan, 2.19 in 41.0 innings pitched.

Most saves: Dexter Price with 21 (franchise record).

Most strikeouts by a pitcher: 87, Seth Webster.

Number of players used this season: 42 total - 22 position players and 20 pitchers.

Most games played: Jordan Dean, 94; Mark Nelson, 90.
