Elk Grove Village police host medication drop-off event
The public will be able to turn in expired, unwanted or unused medications Saturday at the Elk Grove Village Police Department.
As part of the 9th National Take-Back Initiative, the department will be accepting pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications anonymously and no questions asked, according to a news release.
Liquid products, intravenous solutions and syringes will not be accepted.
The free drop-off event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 901 Wellington Ave.
