Mueller names Robert Cronin as Business Valuation Group director

Mueller, a CPA and management consulting firm, recently announced that veteran business valuations advisor Robert E. Cronin has joined the firm as director of its Business Valuation Group.

With more than 20 years of experience in business valuation advisory services across multiple industries, Cronin, 51, of Glenview, joins Mueller's Business Valuation Group from Fort Dearborn Partners, where he was a partner and headed the firm's Business Valuation Practice. In his new role Cronin will advise clients considering a merger or acquisition or other business matters with a portfolio of valuation methodologies and strategic planning services, econometrics, financial analysis and transaction structuring. Cronin will be based in Mueller's downtown Chicago office.

In making the announcement, Randy Rupp, firm partner and head of Mueller's Management Consulting Practice, said, "Bob's extensive experience across a diverse set of industries and deep insights into the complexities of business transactions make him the ideal person to direct our Business Valuations Group. Our clients will benefit greatly from his strategic and tactical advice in navigating the financial and legal challenges of financial transactions."

Cronin, who holds a bachelor of arts degree from Colorado State University and an MBA from the University of Colorado, is an accredited senior appraiser in business valuation from the American Society of Appraisers; certification in distressed business valuation from the Association of Insolvency & Reorganization Advisors; and is a certified management consultant by the Institute of Management Consultants.
