CLC trustee nominating petitions available for April 2015 election

Nominating petitions for three positions on the College of Lake County board of trustees are now available. Candidates for the positions will be placed on the ballot for the April 7, 2015 election. The term of office for each position is six years. The three positions are currently held by Richard A. Anderson, William M. Griffin and Amanda Howland.

The college is governed by a seven-member board of trustees, elected from among the citizens of Community College District No. 532, to ensure local accountability. Election packets are available in the CLC Administrative Affairs office, Room A107, 19351 W. Washington Street, Grayslake. The election filing period is Dec. 15-22, 2014. Election papers will be accepted Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except for Dec. 22, when the office will be open until 5 p.m.

Office Accessibility for Public Viewing of Nominating Papers: Nominating papers for the position of trustee for the April 7, 2015 Consolidated Election may be publically viewed in the CLC Administrative Affairs office, Room A107, 19351 W. Washington Street, Grayslake, on the these dates and hours: Dec. 23, 2014: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Jan. 2, 5, 6 and 7, 2015: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Objections to Nomination Papers: Objections to nomination papers of a candidate may be filed at the College of Lake County, 19351 W. Washington Street, Grayslake, Administrative Affairs office, Room A107, on these dates and hours: Dec. 23, 2014: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Jan. 2, 5, 6 and 7, 2015: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
