10th Annual Law Enforcement Exhibition held in Vernon Hills

Nearly 30 law enforcement agencies were at Westfield Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills on Saturday to participate in the 10th Annual Law Enforcement Exhibition.

Sponsored by the Vernon Hills Police Department, the event featured specialty vehicles and equipment, K9 demonstrations and an opportunity for officers to interact with the public.

Displays included squad cars, motorcycles, a prisoner van, a 911 calling simulator and an interactive alcohol and tobacco display and DUI goggles.

The expo continues at the mall on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 a.m.
