Hanover Township tax appeal seminar set for Sept. 24

Hanover Township and Cook County officials will hold a seminar on property tax appeals in Bartlett Wednesday, Sept. 24.

"We often get questions about the appeal process," Hanover Township Assessor Thomas Smogolski said in a statement. "With this seminar, residents can have their questions answered and file an appeal that evening."

Appeals will apply to the 2014 bills, payable in 2015.

Staff from Cook County Assessor Joseph Berrios' office will be on hand for the seminar, starting at 7 p.m. in the township's Senior Center, 240 S. Route 59, in Bartlett.
