The venues will host jazz soloists to quartets that cover a range of jazz styles. The venues will provide the music complimentary for their in-house guests; there is no cover charge.

The Downtown St. Charles Partnership summer program, STC Live, will come to a close during this weekend. STC Live provides free, live entertainment on the 1st Street Plaza and participating businesses on Wednesday and Friday evenings, May through September. Live jazz will be featured on the plaza on Friday, Sept. 12 and Sunday, Sept. 14 to make anyone's visit downtown a true jazz experience.

"We are thrilled to announce the lineup of our third annual St. Charles Jazz Weekend, which will once again feature Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Frank Catalano," said Lynne Schwartz, executive director of the Downtown St. Charles Partnership, in a news release. "There is obviously a demand for live, jazz music, as we've seen through the response to the event the past two years.
