Tranquility Spa and Wellness Center celebrates 14 years with 2 awards
Tranquility Spa and Wellness Center in downtown St. Charles is being recognized with two awards, which come as they celebrate 14 years in business.
Tranquility Spa owner and esthetician Beverly Miller will receive the Entrepreneurial Excellence Award (EEA) by the Daily Herald. The EEA is given to honorees who demonstrate the best traits of entrepreneurship, including willingness to take risk, drive, perseverance and business creativity. Specifically, they are being recognized with a Growth Award, given to companies which have seen significant revenue growth over a two year period.
In addition, Miller was awarded a "Woman of Distinction" award by the Kane County Chronicle. This award is presented to women who have made a difference in Kane County and are representative leaders in their fields and community. Co-owner and General Manager Loreta Lescelius never would have imagined that they would be celebrating two awards along with their anniversary this year. Says Lescelius, "We are very proud of Beverly and the Spa."
To celebrate their anniversary, Tranquility will be kicking off a month-long celebration, with 14-ercent off all anti-aging products to celebrate 14 years in business. They s also continue their free "Wellness Wednesdays," held the third Wednesday of the month from 7 to 8 p.m. The focus of the program is on education, with local vendors, physicians, health practitioners, fitness instructors, and/or staff members presenting on current beauty, health and wellness topics. This is in addition to their September specials, and is a way to thank their customers for their loyalty.
"It's because of our customers that we have been around for so long, and it is because of them that we received these awards," says Miller.
