Movoto Names West Chicago #16 On Safest Place List for llinois
September 9, 2014 - Real estate brokerage firm Movoto listed West Chicago as #16 in its latest rankings of the safest places in the state of Illinois. The ranking was created using data from the Uniform Crime Report from the FBI (2012) and included all cities for which it had data.

West Chicago also made it on the list of top 100 Safest Cities in America earlier this year, a designation given by Location, Inc., creators of the neighborhood research site, NeighborhoodScout, http://www.neighborhoodscout.com/neighborhoods/crime-rates/top100safest/.
