District 54 hosts STEM night Sept. 16

Schaumburg Township Elementary District 54's Schaumburg Parent University is hosting STEM Family Fun Night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16 at the new Early Learning Center, 520 E. Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg.

Students in early childhood through eighth grade are invited to attend with their parents to discover how science, technology, engineering and math are used to build towers, bridges and boats.

Using everyday materials, families will work together to construct strong structures while developing STEM skills. District 54 STEM Instructional Coach Ben Loduha will facilitate.
