It's the longest two weeks of his life

"Two weeks" is a long time! On Feb. 26, the B-box in front of my home was leaking. I called Rolling Meadows Public Works and they came out, removed the sidewalk, ripped apart my front lawn, moved and repaired the B-box within a few days.

However, here we are six months later and the sidewalk has yet to be replaced, and the hole in my yard (as well as the huge divots in the lawn in the parkway) is not repaired yet. I have telephoned PW and emailed them several times. Regardless who I speak to, I'm told it'll be done "in two weeks."

I have been told they were having problems with the contract for the outsourced concrete company. Then I was told the contract was finalized, then they're in town. I am so fed up with the run-around.

Seriously Public Works, how much longer? Another "two weeks"?
