Light up the night and enjoy a harvest bonfire.

Celebrate fall at the Schaumburg Park District with a harvest bonfire, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Sept. 20 at Heritage Farm, 201 S. Plum Grove Road.

Celebrate the harvest with exciting fall-related activities including a wagon ride through Spring Valley, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows over an open fire and taking a lantern-lit tour of the farm.

"The Harvest Bonfire is a great way to kick-off the fall season with fun fall-related festivities," said Patty Kennedy, Heritage Farm program coordinator. "This event is a simple but fun way to enjoy a fall night out."

Cost is $7 per person. Children ages 3 and younger are free. Parking is located at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 1001 E. Schaumburg Road.
