Daily Herald report

Country superstar couple Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood begin their stretch of 11 concerts at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, and cheap tickets are still available.

The face value for every seat in the house is $65.50, and tickets for a few of the Rosemont dates are still available at ticketmaster.com.

But as of 10 p.m. Wednedsay, tickets for all 11 shows were going for as little as $8.35 each on StubHub.com and other secondary marketplaces. Some of those cheap tickets are behind the stage, but many seats with a full view of the proceedings can be had for well below face value.

After the world tour begins Thursday, Brooks and Yearwood will play two concerts Friday, two Saturday, one on Thursday, Sept. 11, two apiece on Friday, Sept. 12, and Saturday, Sept. 13, and a final show on Sunday, Sept. 14, before heading to Atlanta.
