Parola powers a Mundelein victory

Brett Parola fired an even-par 36, and Mundelein's boys golf team counted four scores in the 30s in posting a pair of wins at Steeple Chase Golf Club on Tuesday.

Mundelein shot a 150, as John Lentz added a 37, Ryan Magee carded a 38 and Jeff Lee shot a 39.

Vernon Hills (161) got a 39 from freshman Brian Favia, a 40 from Bo Manso, and 41s from Justin Park and Ricky Schmidt.

Grant (208) was led by Matt Burkart's 45.

Grayslake North d. Woodstock: At Renwood, the Knights earned the Fox Valley Conference win with a 175, 10 strokes better than the visiting Blue Streaks.

Kyle Baker's 40 led Grayslake North. Alex Wrobel (44), Adam Baker (45) and Jon Cesario (46) rounded out the Knights' scoring.

Woodstock's Jared Venitz was the medalist with a 38.
