Top Table brings steaks to Fox Valley

A new riverfront restaurant opens in St. Charles this weekend. Top Table, a moderately priced steakhouse also specializing in chops and seafood, opens its doors at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, under owners Nathan and Amanda Drafall and executive chef Josef Yurisich. Chatterbox now open

Chatterbox of Long Grove offers small plates, flat breads and weekly specials, and a full bar. Opened by partners Steve Besbeas and chef Chris Rybicki, the menu includes roasted tomato flatbreads, smoked salmon flatbreads, and small plates like deviled eggs, shrimp ceviche, fried calamari and steak, catfish and Baja fish tacos. Hours are 3 p.m. to midnight Tuesday through Friday; noon to midnight Saturday; and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Chatterbox of Long Grove is at 330 Old McHenry Road.
