The Schaumburg Boomers saw a franchise-record and league-best 10-game winning streak come to an end Sunday in a 5-4 loss to the host Windy City ThunderBolts.

Alexi Colon put the Boomers ahead just two pitches into the game with a home run over the wall in right. Windy City's Max White nailed a 3-run homer in the bottom of the inning to put the home team ahead. Windy City did not trail again.

The Boomers scraped within a run three times but could not even the score. Tony Delmonico homered in the eighth and Schaumburg had the tying run at second in the ninth.

Seth Webster suffered the loss, working 6 innings. Delmonico finished with 3 hits.

Schaumburg (58-35) opens the final home series of the season Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. against the Normal CornBelters. RHP Charle Rosario (2-0, 4.96) will start for the Boomers.
