He's back.

Garth Brooks is ready to step into the spotlight again as he launches his Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood at the Allstate Arena tonight in Rosemont.

It's been 17 years since the country music superstar, who retired from performing for eight years in 2001, has starred in the Chicago area. And fans quickly snatched up 200,000 tickets for the Grammy winner's 11 Rosemont shows.
