Mayors endorse Curran

Lake County Sheriff Mark Curran announced he has picked up election endorsements from 29 mayors in Lake County. Curran, a Republican from Libertyville, is seeking re-election in the Nov. 4 election. He is facing challenger Jason Patt, a Democrat from Zion. Curran said the mayors who endorsed him are from: Antioch, Beach Park, Deer Park, Fox Lake, Grayslake, Green Oaks, Gurnee, Hawthorn Woods, Highwood, Island Lake, Kildeer, Lake Barrington, Lake Villa, Lake Zurich, Libertyville, Lincolnshire, Long Grove, Mettawa, Mundelein, Old Mill Creek, Port Barrington, Round Lake, Round Lake Beach, Round Lake Heights, Round Lake Park, Vernon Hills, Volo, Wauconda, and Winthrop Harbor.
