The Mundelein Police Department is pleased to announce the recent graduation of Commander Michael Richards from the Executive Management Program at Northwestern University.

Participation in the Executive Management Program provides policy-making executives with skills to manage today's changing law enforcement environment.

Chief Eric Guenther said, "We are very proud of Commander Richard's accomplishment and we applaud his commitment to furthering his professional life. Continued education is a crucial part of preparing our future law enforcement leaders."

The Center for Public Safety was established at Northwestern University in 1936 with the specific goal of expanding university-based education and training for the Law Enforcement Community.

Since its inception, the center has broadened its original objective and now provides a variety of courses and programs in the area of police training, management training, and executive development.
