New Life Baptist hosts Awana Clubs

New Life Baptist Church in Lake in the Hills will host Awana Clubs at 5-7 p.m. Sundays, beginning Sept. 7.

There will be three separate programs offered:

• Sparks for kindergarten to second-graders

• T&T (short for Truth & Training) for third- to fifth-graders

• Trek, the Awana Jr. High program for sixth- to eighth-graders

Each evening consists of three age-appropriate segments: large group teaching time, game period, and a small group session based around the Bible-based handbooks.

Progression through the handbooks is encouraged through a unique uniform and award system, as well as other incentives.

Doors open at 4:45 p.m. and clubs begin promptly at 5 p.m. and will dismiss at 7 p.m.
