Warren (1-1) got 6 kills from Lindsey Biedron, while Nicole Berzin was 19 of 19 from the serving line with 2 aces. She also dished out 7 assists. Claire Lundtveit contributed 3 kills and 3 blocks, and Jenna Walczak notched 2 kills.

Grant d. Waukegan: Grant got 4 kills apiece from Jordynn Hundley, Kylie Mueller and Kate Kiser in a 25-16, 25-19 road win.

Hannah Johnson added 3 kills, while Kiser set 30 of 31 with 10 assists and served 2 aces. Mueller delivered 3 aces and chalked 5 digs, and Johnson posted 3 blocks. Lexi Gerdes tallied a pair of blocks.

St. Charles North d. Stevenson: The Patriots dropped their season opener 25-21, 25-20, despite 5 kills from Isabella Milejczyk and 4 from Jori Radtke. Morgan Berland led Stevenson with 8 digs, while Corissa Kurth dished out 14 assists.
