Grayslake Elementary District 46 offers periodic screenings for 3- to 5-year-olds for entrance into the district preschool program. This program is for children who are educationally at risk or have possible developmental delays. Children must live within District 46 boundaries, be 3 years old at the time of screening, and 5-year-olds must have turned 5 after Sept. 1. Screening dates are: Sept. 5, Sept. 19 and May 15, at Prairieview School, 103 E. Belvidere Road, Hainesville. For a screening appointment or information, call (847) 543-6204 between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
