New LED-illuminated gateway signs welcoming drivers to Elk Grove Village will be installed at the edges of town next year, officials said.

Elk Grove Village-based Rebechini Studios is being paid $39,636 to construct six new signs, which will replace existing wood and brick facade signs. The firm has built gateway signs at the Elk Grove business park.

The new signs will be installed at Wise Road east of Plum Grove Road, Nerge Road east of Plum Grove, Rohlwing Road north of Biesterfield Road, Biesterfield east of Martha Street, Arlington Heights Road south of Higgins Road, and Ridge Avenue north of Devon Avenue.
