With the summer season coming to an end and the school season beginning, lifeguards are present at Spring Lake Beach in Lincolnshire only on weekends, the village said in a news release on its website. Lifeguards will be on duty on Labor Day. After Sept. 2, the beach will close for the season and no lifeguards will be on duty. When lifeguards are not present, children under the age of 17 are allowed to swim only with the supervision of an adult.
