Crowds flock for art, music at Glen Ellyn festival

It's not called the Glen Ellyn Festival of the Arts for nothing.

Visitors to Lake Ellyn Park this weekend for the 45th annual festival got the chance to browse the works of about 80 artists working in nearly every imaginable medium as part of a juried show while listening to live music and even enjoying a beverage or two from the beer and wine tent.

Sponsored by the Glen Ellyn Lions Club, proceeds from the celebration help fund the club's many charitable causes.

This year's show also included an artist tent sponsored by the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association where artists with special needs could showcase their work.
