Schaumburg wasted no time in taking the lead, scoring 3 runs in the second inning, only 1 of which was earned. The Boomers scored in four different innings, putting the game out of reach with 4 runs in the sixth, 3 scoring on a double from Gerard Hall, who added a triple and drove home 4.
