Mundelein is hosting an open house and ribbon cutting from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the new village hall, 300 Plaza Circle, officials announced in a news release. Also that weekend, Mundelein's 4th annual fine arts festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 6 and 7, at Kracklauer Park, 100 N.
