Mundelein is hosting an open house and ribbon cutting from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the new village hall, 300 Plaza Circle, officials announced in a news release. Building tours, family, activities, music and refreshments are planned. RSVP to Ann Watson at email@example.com or (847) 949-3282 by Sept. 1. Also that weekend, Mundelein's 4th annual fine arts festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 6 and 7, at Kracklauer Park, 100 N.
