MCC offers leadership series for businesses

McHenry County College's Workforce, Community and Business Programs is accepting registrations for a Developmental Dimensions International's Supervisory Leadership Series, which will take place from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Fridays, Sept. 5-Oct. 24.

In today's highly competitive environment, organizations must be able to jump-start the productivity of their new leaders. Making a successful transition from individual contributor to leader requires strong interpersonal skills.

The DDI Supervisory Leadership curriculum accelerates the development of these important people skills. The series topics include: Essentials of Leadership, Getting Started as a New Leader, Resolving Conflict, Delegating for Results, Setting Performance Expectations, Reviewing Performance Progress, Coaching for Improvement, and Achieving Your Leadership Potential.

Participants can register for individual courses or the entire series. Fees for an individual course are $165. The eight-course series fee is discounted by 15 percent at $1,122. Use course ID NTL S22 001 to register.

The Workforce, Community and Business Programs courses are available to bring to a company's facility and customizable for their needs. This program will be held at McHenry County College Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane in McHenry.
