Bartlett bracing for traffic delays around Route 59 bridge project

Bartlett police are warning drivers to brace for delays when a nine-month construction project on the Route 59 bridge over the Metra tracks begins Monday.

Northbound and southbound traffic will be funneled down to one lane in each direction.

The Illinois Department of Transportation expects to complete work on the bridge between West Bartlett Road and Pebble Beach Lane by May 2015.
