Dist. 57 receives awards for communication efforts

Mount Prospect Elementary District 57 has received two awards from the National School Public Relations Association for the district's recent communications efforts, officials announced.

The NSPRA gave District 57 the 2014 "Golden Achievement Award," which recognizes efforts to inform the public in a cost-effective manner, and the 2014 "Award of Merit," which recognizes the district's electronic newsletter.

Superintendent Elaine Aumiller said the district was honored to be recognized by the NSPRA. She said communications will continue to be a priority for the district going forward.
