Twilight Shuffle set in Libertyville

The seventh annual MainStreet Libertyville Twilight Shuffle 5K run is set for 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31. Elite and recreational runners, first-time racers, families (children must be 9 on day of race) and jog stroller-pushers enjoy the 3.12-mile route through downtown Libertyville, rain or shine. The Twilight Shuffle is one of MainStreet Libertyville's top fundraisers, attracting close to 1,000 participants. The post-race party is held at Mickey Finn's brewery. Race admission is $35 for adults, $25 for youths (ages 9-17) by Aug. 25. After Aug. 25, admission is $45 for adults, $30 for youths.
