The Missions Ministry of the Barrington United Methodist Church and St. Anne Catholic Community invite the public to hear acclaimed jazz guitarist the Rev. John Moulder perform a benefit concert for Family Service of Barrington Area at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at Barrington United Methodist Church, routes 59 and 62, Barrington Hills. Cited as "One of the most dynamic guitarists in America" by Chicago Tribune jazz critic Howard Reich, Moulder will be accompanied by vibraphonist Ken Hall. A freewill offering will be accepted to benefit the mission and services of Family Service of Barrington Area, the community's oldest social service agency.
