The public is invited to the grand opening of the newly renovated Andrew C. Cook House and Museum, home of the Wauconda Township Historical Society, at 711 N. Main St., Wauconda, from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 12:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
