Arlington Hts. meets on village manager search this week
Arlington Heights is getting closer to hiring a new village manager.
The village board met in a closed-door session Tuesday night - and will conduct similar meetings Wednesday and Thursday night - to discuss the village manager search, said interim manager Diana Mikula.
Officials would not comment further on the status of the search or name candidates being interviewed.
Former Village Manager Bill Dixon retired in June after more than 20 years with the village. Mayor Tom Hayes has said he would like to have a new manager in place by Labor Day.
