Blue Chip Marketing Worldwide's Ken Shore Named to PharmaVOICE's '100 Most Inspiring'

Deerfield resident Ken Shore, executive vice president of business development and innovation at Blue Chip Marketing Worldwide, has been named one of the "100 Most Inspiring People in the Life-Sciences Industry in 2014" by PharmaVOICE magazine. Shore was selected by his peers and PharmaVOICE readers for his innovative approach to accelerating patient enrollment in clinical trials and helping pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies bring FDA-approved therapies to market.

"Ken has helped to transform the landscape of patient recruitment with his groundbreaking approach to connecting patients to clinical research studies," said Stanton Kawer, chief executive officer of Blue Chip Marketing Worldwide. "In addition, Ken is a respected leader who possesses great vision when it comes to the ever-changing healthcare landscape."

"It's an honor to be recognized by PharmaVOICE, especially in the same context as so many other great industry leaders," said Ken Shore. "I'm inspired by the possibility of getting people to live healthier lives, and I truly believe the work we do drives that mission forward."

Through Shore's leadership, the patient recruitment division at Blue Chip has established several novel approaches to reaching patients, including a direct marketing strategy called lifestyle-based analytics as well as leveraging insurance databases. Shore and his team help clients achieve their enrollment goals by understanding each patient's unique Path to Participation-identifying points in a patient's journey in which Blue Chip can use communications to help influence patients' decisions to participate and remain in a clinical trial.

Prior to joining Blue Chip in 2002, Ken served as vice president of marketing at Allscripts Healthcare Solutions and vice president of new product development at Cedant.

Now in its tenth year, the "PharmaVOICE 100" July/August special issue is one of the industry's most popular publications. Every year, PharmaVOICE receives thousands of nominations from readers who nominate and vote for the most influential corporate leaders in their field. Candidates are selected based on their ability to inspire peers through their actions, as well as exhibiting strong leadership qualities, fearless and unique approaches to problems, and innovation in strategies, products and services.
