Chandler's Chophouse specials

Burgers cost $5 bucks at Chandler's Chophouse and Grille every Wednesday night with the purchase of a beverage. Burgers come with lettuce, tomato and pickle and your choice of cheese (add 75 cents for additional toppings). On Tuesdays, Chandler's offers steak and baked potato with soup or salad for $12.99; on Thursdays baby back ribs with french fries or tater tots and homemade coleslaw go for $14.99 full slab or $9.99 half slab.

The Still open in Bartlett

The Still Bar and Grill recently opened in Main Street Plaza at Bartlett. The casual eatery, owned by Brett Gaylord and Jim Leo, offers barbecue and other American fare like broasted chicken, smoked brisket, catfish, chicken and waffles, burgers, sandwiches and salads. Craft beers, martinis, moonshine specialty drinks and more are available to the bar. Open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

Famous Dave's, Hub pair up

Learn the dos and don'ts of fantasy football with Bears and 670 The Score Chicago football guru Hub Arkush and fantasy football expert Paul Charchian from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21. Try the new craft beer flights and barbecue bites like Sweet Z's Brisket Joe (brisket, onion, garlic in sweet and zesty sauce) for $3.99. For $4.99 you can have either brisket with jalapeƱo pickled red onions or pork and Cajun sausage po'boy with creole mustard, lettuce, tomato and hell-fire pickles.
