Specialist to discuss how to manage your stress

The National Alliance on Mental Illness-Cook County North Suburban invites the public to "Stress Management Techniques" by Patrick McGrath, Ph.D., clinical psychologist and director of the Center for Anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health hospital in Hoffman Estates.

McGrath specializes in anxiety disorders; panic, phobias, OCD, PTSD, social phobia and generalized anxiety disorder. He is the author of a new stress management workbook called "Don't Try Harder, Try Different."

McGrath will answer your questions. This free program is from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday Sept. 8, at the Holy Family Hospital Auditorium, 100 N. River Road, Des Plaines, on the northwest corner of Golf and River Roads. Use the parking lot and front entrance on River Road.
