Dundee Twp. Republican Organization to host picnic

The Dundee Township Republication Organization will host its annual picnic from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, at Randall Oaks Park, 1180 N. Randall Road in West Dundee. The catered lunch will be from noon to 2 p.m.

Tickets are $10 per person or $25 per family. Advance tickets must be purchased by Sunday, Aug. 17.

There is a petting zoo at the park; fee not included.

The gold sponsors of the event are Bruce Rauner and Larry Kaifesh. Other sponsors include Peter Roskam, Karen McConnaughay, Mike Tryon, Joe McMahon, Maggie Auger, Ed Ritter, Jeff Meyer and Jay Radke.

At last year's picnic, there were many candidates, including three of four of the candidates for governor.
