Summer weekends are dwindling fast, so make the most of them!

Taste and Talent: Nibble your way through Taste of Arlington Heights around Campbell Street and Vail Avenue and then enjoy a 3:30 p.m. concert featuring the 10 finalists for Suburban Chicago's Got Talent. Theater on the go: Janus Theater Company hosts its seventh annual short play festival, Walkabout: Theater on your Feet, this weekend in Elgin. The event features four plays about baseball performed at the Elgin Public House, Side Street Studio Arts, Al's Cafe and Blue Box Cafe, all within walking distance of each other.
