Thirteen men were charged with soliciting sex last month in an undercover operation conducted by the Lake County Sheriff's Office, according to a news release issued Friday.
On July 16-17, sheriff's police conducted the sting at two hotels in Lake County. It was part of a national effort -- the eighth annual National Day of Johns Arrests, conducted by 28 law enforcement agencies in 14 states.
In Lake County, 13 men were charged with solicitation of a sexual act. One of them was additionally charged with drug offenses and resisting a peace officer.
Charged with solicitation of a sexual act are:
Daniel A. Fishbein, 44, 4800 block of Preserve Parkway, Long Grove.
Juan Diaz, 45, 300 block of Honey Court, Round Lake.
Enrique A. Fisher, 54, 400 block of Chesterfield Lane, Vernon Hills.
Matthew D. Boutwell, 39, 800 block of Blazing Star Trail, Cary.
William M. Friar Jr., 30, 2800 block of Darrow Lane, Waukegan. Friar Jr. was also charged with unlawful possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a peace officer.
Anthony Uscila, 38, 100 block of Chicago Street, Elgin.
Daniel S. Holst, 35, 1800 block of 16th Avenue, Monroe, Wisconsin.
Cleounsee F. Fisher, 33, 400 block of Poplar Street, Kankakee.
Marc A. Findlay, 40, 700 block of Oriole Trail, in McHenry.
Martin T. Abundes, 52, 500 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue, Park City.
Hrm S. Anwar, 44, Aspen Drive in Vernon Hills.
Scott A. Ruddell, 50, 7600 block of Cascade Way, Gurnee.
