Police searching for missing Mt. Prospect man

Mount Prospect police ask the public's help in finding a 63-year-old Mount Prospect man with dementia who has gone missing.

Joseph E. Pierre was last seen Thursday leaving his home on the 1500 block of Redwood Drive, police said in a news release. Pierre had recently moved to the area from Skokie, and he has gone missing before but always returned within a few days, police said.

He doesn't have a access to a vehicle and was last seen wearing a green winter jacket, brown corduroy pants and snow boots. He's described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 130 pounds, bald with brown eyes. Pierre was last seen Friday at the CTA station in Rosemont. Please contact Mount Prospect police at (847) 870-5656 with any information.
