Wisconsin attorney general candidates set for last debate

MADISON, Wis. - Three Democrats vying for the party's nomination for attorney general are set to debate one last time before next week's primary.

Jefferson County District Attorney Susan Happ, Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne and state Rep. Jon Richards of Milwaukee are scheduled to meet at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's law school on Tuesday afternoon. Erin McBride, director of the law school's Government and Legislative Clinic, and Professor Michael Wagner of the UW's journalism school will moderate the discussion.

The winner of the Aug. 12 primary will advance to face Republican Brad Schimel, Waukesha County's Republican district attorney Brad Schimel, in the general election on Nov. 4.
