Wisconsin police search for driver after chase
SHAWANO, Wis. - Shawano County officials are looking for a man who they say was involved in a police chase and multiple vehicle thefts.
WLUK-TV reports the sheriff's department was asking the public for information about a 26-year-old suspect Monday. Officials say he stole a semitrailer Sunday and led police on a chase when they tried to stop the vehicle near Marion.
They say the man backed the semitrailer into a patrol car twice. The chase ended when the semitrailer crashed into a tree and the driver ran away.
Officials wouldn't say where the crash happened because they're still investigating. No injuries have been reported.
