Lake Park marching band seeking Tag Day donations

Members of the Lake Park High School marching band will go door to door from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, in District 108 asking for monetary donations to support its activities as part of the annual Tag Day fundraiser. Donors will receive a Lake Park band sticker, or "tag."

Lake Park High School District 108 serves all or parts of Roselle, Itasca, Bloomingdale, Keeneyville, Medinah, Wood Dale and Hanover Park.

Tag Day proceeds help with the costs of transporting and feeding more than 150 members of the band and its staff as they travel to compete in local, state and national marching band competitions. The 2014 marching band will perform under the direction of Steven Pyter.

For details or to donate, call Tag Day chairmen Carol and Bill Armbrecht at (630) 467-1309.
